Press release - MEPs refer EU-Canada air passenger data deal to the EU Court of Justice

Aktuality z Európskeho parlamentu 25.11.2014 17:36 Plenary sessions : The EU-Canada agreement on the transfer of Passenger Name Records should be referred to the European Court of Justice for an opinion on whether it is in line with the EU treaties and Charter of Fundamental Rights, MEPs said in a vote on Tuesday. This is the first time that Parliament has asked that a PNR agreement be given a preliminary check by the Court before the final vote on the deal. Source :
