Kingston Unveils Nucleum 7-in-1 USB-C Hub

NotebookReview.com 12.03.2018 01:01 CES 2018 – Kingston has unveiled its latest USB-C docking station for notebooks, called Nucleum. This hub provides multiple ports for connecting up to 7 devices at once. In addition, it can deliver up to 60 watts of power over its USB-C cable. Nucleum Features It’s important to note the Nucleum isn’t a Thunderbolt 3 hub, although it certainly could be connected to a TB3 port. Thunderbolt is a high-speed connection that runs over a USB cable. The Nucleum instead supports USB 3.1. It doesn’t provide as much throughput as TB3, but it has enough to drive a single 4K monitor.
